No-frills Glamping in Swanage

Glamping Availability

We have two bell tents this year sharing the same basic facilities as our camping field, and pitched in one of the best locations we have.

If you want a camping experience, don’t have your own tent, and want to get away from the distractions of Wi-Fi and work, our no-frills glamping experience is just for you.

You will even find a pack of cards inside!

Our no-frills facilities are outlined below:

– No electric hook-up
– No Wi-Fi
– No showers

OPENING DATES for 2024

Friday 24th May – Monday 3rd June
Wednesday 24th July – Wednesday 11th September

Additionally, we will close for 3-days between the July and September dates to comply with the requirements for our site, and to allow the cows to graze the field. This will be at short notice and we will pick bad weather days for this. Anyone with a booking will get a refund and a discounted future stay.

£95 per night + £100 damage deposit.

By booking with us, you also acknowledge and agree to the below information and terms:

Whats included in your hire

1x 5m carpeted bell tent with zipped-in ground sheet, bunting, and solar powered fairy lights.

Inside will be 4x camp beds – 1x double, 2x single – a chest of drawers, and a cow rug.

1x tripod campfire over a open fire (first bag of firewood, kindling, and firelighters included if hired for more than 3 nights).

1x farm-chic table with 4x chairs for seating.

What’s not included

Bedding, and all cooking / cleaning utensils.

T&C’s

Balance to be paid in full 48 hours before arrival via our payments page, with a £100 damage deposit, that is refundable on departure – this can be refunded in cash (if the manager’s around) or via PayPal.

Iain, the site Manager, is often in the field between 6-8pm in a white Volvo or blue Suzuki

You can, of course, move your booking for no fee. (Subject to availability.)

Arrival time is 3:00 PM onwards.

Departure time is 12 mid-day.

Well behaved, insured dogs are welcome with an added refundable fee of £25 to the damage deposit.

Refundable fees will be paid in the event that the tent is vacated in a reasonable condition with nothing damaged, missing or broken. The added pet fee will be returned when we are satisfied your dog has not caused damage or an excess of cleaning (e.g. toileting in the tent, lots of mud etc.) No deposit will be unreasonably withheld.
